Stop Labor's Development Onslaught
The Labor Government have announced the rollout of high-rise across large parts of Pittwater while cutting vital infrastructure projects, such as Mona Vale Road West, Beaches Link, and Federal Labor cutting $75 million from the Wakehurst Parkway.
Upon being elected to NSW Parliament, I worked with the Parliamentary Counsel's Office to draft legislation that would ban the mining of gas and oil in NSW waters. It would also prevent any pipelines or infrastructure through NSW Waters or on NSW land associated with any off shore mining activities. The Labor Government is proposing to oppose the Bill and, in so doing, support offshore mining of gas and oil. This means oil rigs off the coast of our community.
The State Labor Government is planning to discontinue the Active & Creative Kids Vouchers. This valuable program, providing 3 x $100 vouchers per child per year, has been a successful at providing cost of living relief for many families. Its removal could force countless children to give up extra-curricular activities.
In July 2023, the State Labor Government reduced bus services on the Northern Beaches without conducting any community consultation. Despite the potential recruitment of new drivers, they offer no commitment to increasing services. Sign our petition calling on the Government to restore these essential services for our community.
This petition calls upon the State Labor Government to allocate the necessary funding for an immediate and comprehensive upgrade of Narrabeen Sports High School. We believe that investing in the improvement of this school is essential to provide better educational opportunities for the community.
This petition urges the State Labor Government to oppose the Lizard Rock planning proposal. The implementation of this proposal would result in the construction of 450 dwellings within the Narrabeen Lagoon catchment, leading to the destruction of pristine bushland, endangering native wildlife, and exposing future residents to the risk of potential fires. We stand together to advocate for the rejection of this proposal.
